Mission

 

Protecting Ohio's Employees ("POE") promotes workplace safety, employee diversity, fair employment practices, effective employment laws and efficient legal representation for Ohio employees.

 

Formed in 2013, POE monitors and analyzes Ohio state legislation affecting workers and lobbies on workers' behalves. In recent years, for example, POE has taken the lead in opposing efforts to weaken Ohio's laws against discrimination and retaliation at work.
